Binding Folders, matched to your machine.

Binding folders that fold and apply binding tape to an edge in a single pass.

What binders do

Binding Folders in the line.

A binding folder wraps a strip of binding tape around a raw edge and presents it to the needle already folded, so a single pass encloses the edge and sews it. Binding is one of the most common finishing operations in sewn goods, and one of the most sensitive to fold accuracy: a binding that runs wide on one side and narrow on the other shows on every inch of the edge.

The depot stocks binding folders for single fold and double fold binding, for a range of tape widths, and for bias or straight grain tape depending on whether the edge is curved or straight. Each folder throat is machined to a specific finished width and tape thickness, which is why a binder is ordered by dimension, not by name alone.

To match a binder we need the finished binding width, the single or double fold, the tape material and grain, and the host machine it mounts to. Have those ready and the part is exact. The full binder catalog comes online with the live build; in this preview a specialist confirms it with you.
