Parts Depot · Hemmers

Hemming Folders, matched to your machine.

Hemming folders for clean, consistent hems across fabric weights and hem types.

What hemmers do

Hemming Folders in the line.

A hemmer folds an edge under, once or twice, and feeds it into the needle already turned, so the machine sews a clean finished hem without the operator folding by hand. Nearly every sewn product has a hem, so hemming folders are the deepest single class in the folder catalog, and each fabric weight and hem width wants a folder sized for it.

The depot stocks hemmers for the plain turned hem, the double fold clean finish that encloses the raw edge, the rolled hem for light fabrics, and specialty hems like the rod pocket that forms a channel. They differ by finished hem width, number of folds, and the fabric weight the throat is sized for.

To match a hemmer we need the finished width, the fold count, the hem type, and the fabric weight, plus the machine and feed it runs on. The full hemmer catalog comes online with the live build; in this preview a specialist confirms the exact part with you.
